Rob Uhe
Rob Uhe is a founding partner of TaylorUhe. He provides legal and legislative advocacy services to a
variety of clients, including representation of businesses and public bodies before the Illinois General
Assembly and state administrative agencies.
Rob previously was a partner at Mayer Brown and prior to that served for eight years as Chief Counsel
to Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan and Parliamentarian of the House of Representatives.
During that time, he was the point person for most substantive legislation that moved through the
General Assembly and negotiated many of the top legislative initiatives enacted during the past decade.
He also served during this time as Ethics Officer for the Illinois House Democratic Caucus and Majority
Counsel to the Illinois Legislative Redistricting Commission. Before entering public service, Rob was
an attorney in private practice at two Chicago law firms: Vedder, Price, Kaufman & Kammholz;
and Phelan, Pope & John.
Rob received his law degree cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his bachelor's
degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
