Mark Taylor Mark Taylor

Mark Taylor is a founding partner of TaylorUhe. He brings more than 25 years of legislative and political experience to his representation of diverse businesses and governmental bodies in the Illinois General Assembly and before state administrative agencies.

Prior to establishing TaylorUhe, Mark was for 17 years a partner in the law firm of Mayer Brown LLP, managing its Government and Global Trade Practice Group and its Illinois Legislative Practice. He previously was director of Amoco Corporation's political action committee and corporate political affairs, and prior to that served as Director of Public Affairs for the National Association of Manufacturers and Portfolio Manager for Mercantile Safe Deposit and Trust in Baltimore, MD. He has also served as Legal Counsel to the Democratic Party of Illinois.

Mark received his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his bachelor's degree from Illinois State University, where he majored in Business Administration.
